YouTuber Hindustani Bhau arrested for ‘instigating’ students in Mumbai’s Dharavi
Online media powerhouse and YouTuber ‘Hindustani Bhau’ moniker Vikas Phatak has been captured by the Dharavi police in Mumbai for supposedly prompting understudies. He had supposedly requested that understudies collect close to the home of Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad to request the dropping of disconnected tests for classes 10 and 12 on Monday.
“Web-based media powerhouse Vikas Phatak, otherwise called ‘Hindustani Bhau’, has been captured by the Dharavi Police regarding the understudies’ dissent in Dharavi yesterday over their interest for online tests for classes 10 and 12, taking into account Covid-19. FIR has been enrolled against Phatak and others,” news organization ANI said.
‘Hindustani Bhau’ had transferred a video of him on Instagram, supposedly inciting understudies. The FIR is enlisted under numerous segments of the Indian Penal Code, including that of revolting, Maharashtra Police Act, Disaster Management Act and Maharashtra Prevention of Defacement of Property Act.
Dharavi Police has likewise captured one Iqrar Khan Vakhar Khan regarding that situation.
A few hundred understudies fought on Monday evening at Ashok Mill Naka for their requests. Police reacted with a gentle cudgel charge to prevent them from moving towards the priest’s home nearby.
The understudies contended against holding the board tests for classes 10 and 12 face to face, saying they had examined online because of Covid limitations.

Reacting to an inquiry, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Zone V, Pranay Ashok said, “Move will be made according to the law against anybody liable for actuating understudies”.
Another police official said that Hindustani Bhau had visited the Dharavi police headquarters mentioning the police to not prevent understudies from arriving at Gaikwad’s home.
