Lakhimpur violence accused Ashish Misra got bail but can’t walk out of jail. Here’s why
On Thursday, the BJP leader and Minister of Union, the son of Misra Tenra, Ashish Misra was given a guarantee by the Allahabad High Court in the case of Lakhimpur Kheri’s violence where it was the main accusation. He was arrested on October 9, 2021.
WHY ASHISH MISRA MUST REMAIN IN JAIL
The Chargesheet was submitted by the Lakhimpur police, Ashish Misra has been accused of under 67 years, 148, 149, 302, 307, 326, 34, 427 and 120B from the Indian criminal code. In addition, he has been charged under the relevant section of Act Act.
However, the guarantee order issued by the High Court did not mention section 302 and 120B. While section 302 relates to murder, part 120b related to criminal conspiracy.
