Yogi Adityanath Meets Amit Shah Over UP Cabinet, Suspense Over Deputy Chief Minister Continues
New Delhi: Chairman of Uttar Pradesh-Minister Elected Yogi Adityanath met Minister of Internal Affairs Amit Shah to discuss the establishment of the Government in the state. Both leaders discuss the ministers who will be sworn with Mr. Adityanath on March 25, party sources said. The meeting was held on Wednesday night at the residence of the Minister of Home.
BJP, which returns to power in an important state, is scheduled to choose its legislative party leader on Thursday. It is hoped that it will be attended by Mr. Shah, party observer for the formation of the government above, and several other BJP senior leaders.
BJP with his allies won 274 seats from 403, became the first party in more than three decades to form a government for the second consecutive time in the state.
BJP must have named Mr. Adyityanath as Chairman of the Minister of Uttar Pradesh at the meeting on Thursday. But the party has not received a call on the names of deputy minister’s head, said source. It is still unclear whether Petahana – Keshav Maurya and Dinesh Sharma will continue. Maurya, among the biggest OBC faces the party above, the loss of the selection that had just been held, while Sharma did not carry out the contest.
The ceremony swore in the Adityanath-LED government will be held on Friday at the Mega event at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium in Lucknow. BJP sources say almost 40 ministers can also be sworn. Chief of Minister for all BJP rules said and other top politicians from all over the country would attend the ceremony swore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the main guest.
