Imran Khan’s party apologised to US over foreign conspiracy charge, claims Pak minister
The accusation of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan about foreign conspiracy to overthrow his government is not new. The cricket player who turned into a politician has even appointed a US diplomat named Donald Lu for allegedly involved in a conspiracy to move him from the position of Prime Minister.
Now, a senior minister in the ruling Shehbaz Sharif government has claimed that the Khan Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf party has apologized to the American diplomat. He even claimed that Imran Khan sent a message to Washington DC that he wanted to ‘improve matters and relations with the superpower’.
In an interview with Geo News, Pakistani Defense Minister Khwaja Asif claimed that PTI had apologized to Lu, Assistant of the US Secretary for South and Central Asian affairs for the charge of the party head against him.
The Minister claimed that the Sharif regime had received all records regarding the apology of the party led by Imran Khan to Diplomat. The minister claimed that PTI leaders held a meeting with US government officials where they apologized.
“The American conspiracy sank in the Audio Shorbegam Sahib. The fact is that now American prayer has begun regularly. Prayer is ongoing. The formula is the same as the institution at home and abroad, “Asif then tweeted.
During a meeting in Islamabad before he was overthrown from his position, Imran Khan accused that Lu was involved in a foreign conspiracy of bringing down his government. The Head of PTI even claimed about Lu warning the Ambassador of Pakistan to US ASAD Majeed about the implications if the Prime Minister was survived from a motion that did not believe.
After the Asif claim regarding the apology to us by the Imran team exploded, Vice President PTI and former Minister Fawad Chaudhry attacked the Minister of Defense Pakistan.
Chaudhry asked whether the Minister of Defense became deaf when Imran gave a policy statement in front of thousands of people in the land of the parade in Islamabad last Saturday, Dawn reported.
“Do you have cotton in your ears that you can’t understand what Imran said?” Chaudhary said, adding that his party wanted good relations with countries but would not allow any country to decide who would rule Pakistan.
