British Tourist Dies After Being Struck By Helicopter Blades In Horrific Accident In Greece

A 21 -year -old British tourist was killed in Greece after being shocked by the Blades helicopter, a report in Metro based in the UK said. The man, who has not been identified, was killed in a terrible incident after getting out of the plane at a private airport with three other tourists while on vacation. The incident occurred at 18:20 on July 25, the outlet said and the police were immediately rushed to that place. But the man suffered a sad injury and died on the spot, Metro said in his report.

The man’s parents also headed to the same place after a flight from Mykonos. However, pilot Bell 407 radio to their helicopter who told them about the incident, said the outlet further.

The second helicopter pilot then turned to Athena International Airport to prevent the man’s parents to watch the accident.

Investigations have been launched and helicopter pilots that killed tourists and two land technicians have been arrested, said Independent.
