21 Warplanes, 5 Naval Ships From China Tracked Around Taiwan: Report

Taipei: Taiwan has traced 21 fighter aircraft and five naval ships from China throughout the country with eight jets that crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
The National Defense Ministry Taiwan said that it had traced 17 aircraft and five ships from the Chinese military throughout the country at 17:00 on Friday, reported Taiwan News.

Of the 17 Air Force Betting aircraft (Plaf), eight across the median line over the Taiwan Strait, the military said. The aircraft were four Xi’an JH-7 fighters, two Sukhoi Su-30 fighters, and two Jet Shenyang J-11.

JH-7 and Jet Su-30 crossed the median line at the northern end, while two J-11 fighters did it at the southern end.

The ministry said that his party assigned a Combat Water Patrol (CAP), Navy ships, and air defense missile systems to monitor and respond to Chinese activities to report Taiwan’s news.

Overcoming a press briefing on Wednesday, a spokesman for the Department of Foreign Affairs Ned Price said the US would continue to take firm but also calm steps to uphold peace and stability in dealing with Beijing’s sustainable efforts to damage the status quo.

“These steps in various fields will be revealed for several weeks and the coming month because we realize that this challenge is long-term,” Price said during a press briefing.
