Exclusive | ‘Rearguard’ Action: Shortly after Abe Assassination, Centre Sent VVIP Security Advisory to States
The center issued a five -point advisor to all states about VVIP security on the day of former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe was shot dead.

Shinzo Abe, a former Japanese prime minister was killed on July 8 while speaking at a political event outside the Yamato-Saidaiji station in the city of Nara Japan. He was shot from behind from close range by a man with homemade firearms. Abe was transported by a medical helicopter to Nara Medical University Hospital, where he was declared dead.
