‘Anti-Conversion’ Bill: Dalit, Adivasi Christians the Most Attacked in Karnataka

 In Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s home region Haveri, a Dalit Christian evangelist Chandrakanth B Komalapu, 51, is confronted with an amusing emergency. While Chandrakanth has not had the option to persuade his child, 23-year-old Moses Sandesh, who is a rehearsing Hindu, to embrace Christianity, he was assaulted in November 2021, for ‘changing’ 30 neighborhood Hindus over to Christianity.

Chandrakanth told The Quint, “I have never asked anybody, including my child, to follow my confidence since that is somebody’s very own decision. I just lecture what I put stock in and the individuals who acknowledge the proclaiming come for love.”

On 7 November, 25 neighborhood vigilantes purportedly disturbed Chandrakanth’s petition gathering at Jeevadayaka Suvartha Madira, a shoddy supplication lobby set up in Aladakatti of Haveri, and mauled him.
