On September 20, Netflix was confirmed to usatoday that season 4 will advance and not only that, the show will return for season 5 on Netflix too. Multi-season commands rarely occur in Netflix but are proof of the popularity of the series.

Of course, we have reported about season 4 of the Virgin River which has long been before the official update comes. Over the past few seasons, we often heard that the filming date is scheduled before the update and that once again the case for the 4 season.

The best of all, Colin announced that season 4 will be longer than the previous season. The episode count for season 4 of Virgin River has been expanded to 12 episodes of 10.

Previously in 2021, we reported that several production lists included performances to return for the fourth season. Better yet, we then got word that filming in season 4 will begin at the end of July 2021.

Show entirely in Vancouver, Canada.

Thanks to the post from the watershed grill on Instagram, we also knew that filming was taking place there between August 17 and 18, 2021 (and several times).

The Watershed grill functions as a filming location for the Jack bar on Virgin River.

New cast members for Virgin River Season 4

Also, starring is Kai Bradbury who will play Denny Cutler who is a granddaughter who is missing old. Denny came to give a secret despite the best intention to revive the relationship with his grandfather.

When will season 4 of Virgin River be on Netflix?

With the shooting that happened so early, the means that we don’t have to wait a silly time for the new season.

With that, don’t expect the release of 2021 for the 4 season.

Instead, we are currently predicting that Virgin River 4 season must return in 2022 with it most likely in Q2-Q3 2022 (anywhere between April and July 2022).

Will there be a season 5 & 6 of Virgin River on Netflix?

As we mentioned it would be a 5 season of Virgin River. The details are slim now with scripts that might still be put together.

In an Instagram Live, Alexandra Breckenridge revealed that filming was originally scheduled to begin in March 2022 but then pushed back.

“We should start in March but it was pushed so I didn’t know,” said the actress, added “I hope maybe we will start in the summer. It would be nice to shoot in Vancouver in the summer than in winter because it becomes very honest With you, I just shoot in winter. “

As for the 6 season, it’s really too early to tell. It will all go down to performance on Netflix.

Speak before the announcement to us every week, he showed that Sue Tenney was tempting that they “wanted to do as much season as we could”. There is a mountain source of material to close in the upcoming season so the door is wide open.
