Mark Zuckerberg is an American entrepreneur and a former Harvard computer science student, along with several friends, launched a Facebook social network in February 2004. In 2008 Zuckerberg became the youngest billionaire in the world at the age of 24.

Early life

Mark Zuckerberg was born on May 14, 1984 at White Plains, New York became an educated family. He grew up in the nearest village Dobbs Ferry. Zuckerberg’s father, Edward Zuckerberg, runs dental practice. Karen’s mother worked as a psychiatrist in front of four couples, Mark, Randi, Donna and Arielle was born. Zuckerberg developed an interest in computers at a young age. When he was around 12 years old, he used Atari Basic to create a message program called “Zucknet”. His father used the program in the dental office so that the receptionist could tell him about new patients without screaming around the room. The family also uses Zucknet to communicate in the house. Together with his friends, he also made a computer game for fun. To follow Zuckerberg’s greater interest on a computer, his parents employ David Newman, a private tutor on a computer, to work with their son. At this time Zuckerberg also took a postgraduate course at the nearest Mercy College.

While still at school, he developed the initial version of Pandora music software, which he called Synapse. Some companies, including AOL and Microsoft, show interest to buy software and employ teenagers before graduation. He refused the offer. In 2002 Zuckerberg was registered at Harvard University. In the second year of the study, Zuckerberg was known as a leading software developer on campus. At that time, he created CourseMatch, a program that allows students to choose their class based on the selection of other user courses. He also found Facemash, where photos of two students on campus compared and users can choose which photos are more interesting. This program is very popular, but then stopped by school administration after it turned out to be inappropriate. With three of his colleagues, he developed an idea for a social network called Harvard Connection. This website uses information from the Harvard student network to create a dating site for Harvard Elite. However, he immediately left the project to work on his own social networking website, Facebook. After completing the second year of the study, Zuckerberg left the college to devote himself all day to his new company Facebook.
